Paradigm- 'The Unfinished Robot'

Setting

A workshop purposed to build robots. It uses advanced technology but it is not a shiny futuristic setting, more of a 'steampunk' workshop
A robot unfinished by his master is tossed in the rejection bin like a piece of trash.

Character:
A unfinished robot; determined, selfish, bitter, greedy, inferiority complex, a sense of rejection that he must overcome. Because he is mistreated he draws sympathy from the audience. He will stop at nothing to complete himself, he is willing to cannibalise the other robots in the workshop to get the required parts.

Quest

The determined robot vows to go out and complete himself and require the parts that he needs. He will do whatever is takes however morally reprehensible. Seeks out other robots in the workshop for the parts.

Conflict

By adding all these different parts from other 'living' robots he begins to hear the voices of the robots he took apart. Each robot part he added contains still contains the 'soul' or personality of the previous owner. This drives him mad with grief and guilt.
He rips the parts off of him in a fit of rage/madness.

Resolution

Defeated he crawls back into the rejection bin incomplete. Selfishness has got him no where.
